Afternoon tea + a big red double decker. Name a more iconic London duo. I’ll wait 🇬🇧☕️🍰 (Invite)
I was recently invited to take a little spin around our city whilst indulging on vegan cake, and really, who can resist that offer?! 🤷🏼♀️ Even if every clumsy bone in my body wondered “is this a great idea, Clare?” 😂
The team at @brigitsbakery offer a number of different tours including a gin lovers tour and night bus tours, with gluten free and veggie options and now a vegan option too! 🌱
For £45 per person, you’ll be treated to:
🥪 Beetroot & Cucumber Sandwiches
🥑 Avocado & Carrot ‘Sushi style’ roll
🌱 Quinoa & Mint verrine
🍆 Mixed roasted vegetables on ciabatta
🌱 Vegetable quiche
🌱 Scones with ‘cream’ and jam
🍰 Panna Cotta on coconut rocher
🍰 Chocolate mousse verrine
🍰 Lemon drizzle slice
🍰 Seasonal cupcake .
☕️ A choice of teas & coffees (or you can pre order alcoholic drinks for a little extra)
I mean, what an absolute dream of a selection 😍 Props to @brigitsbakery for creating such a varied and interesting vegan range 🌱 I wasn’t sure what to expect as it’s quite a niche and novelty idea but the food is pretty tasty! It could use a little refinement but still, not bad! 😋 My personal faves were the vegan cupcakes, the extremely authentic scones and the mini vegan quiches 😋
This is a fun way to see the city, especially if you don’t get to explore it often 🇬🇧 Whilst it’s not the kind of thing you’d do all the time as it’s quite pricey, it’s fun for a special occasion. It was a little bit bumpy at times resulting in some hilarity at my expense but overall, a good laugh and something different 😍 I’d recommend going during the day for full sightseeing potential! Also, note that pictured is food for four but the portion for two is plenty!
The lovely team were kind enough to invite me and gave me this food on a complimentary basis. No payment was received and all opinions, as always, are honest and my own.
