ad MEET BRITISH PATAGONIA – A BEAUTIFUL NEW VEGAN-FRIENDLY BAKERY IN ANGEL, ISLINGTON 🥐
London has been crying out for more vegan pastries for a long time and British Patagonia has arrived to change that.
Co-Owner of British Patagonia, Matias, has been a pastry chef for seven years and it shows! I bought my friend @chefclarisseflon along with me as she’s a French pastry chef and she was impressed too!
The range at British Patagonia includes:
🥐 Croissants (and stuffed croissants)
🍫 Pain au chocolat
🌱 Cinnamon buns
🍪 Chocolate cookies
🍞 Freshly baked bread
🍫 Hot chocolate
🌸 Rosehip roll
🌱…and some delightful raspberry stuffed pastries which stole the show for me
💭 British Patagonia is the cosiest, cutest, most beautiful little spot. It feels homely and snug as soon as you walk in. The display is so aesthetically pleasing, it’s ridiculous. I couldn’t stop photographing it. I’m no pastry expert but thought the pastries were really nice. The raspberry stuffed delight was my fave but I also enjoyed the pain au chocolat, croissant and cinnamon bun. They weren’t too sweet as they sometimes can be. The hot chocolate was thick, decadent and indulgent with a little hint of mint. I can’t wait to come back here and I’m patiently waiting for them to create a vegan version of their Dulce de leche crown
