In queso you weren’t aware, @clubmexicana serves up some of the best Mexican grub in town 😍 (Invite)
It’s nacho typical restaurant either. They do it all from the comfort of 100% vegan pub @thespreadeaglelondon. I could spend every Friday night here and never get bored. I mean, for one, they’ve got a Prince shrine. Nuff said. 👊🏼
On our little visit, @jolley_chris and I tucked into:
🥔 Triple fried potatoes with chipotle mayo, chives & chilli oil
🌱 Loaded nachos with guacamole, red pepper queso, pink onions, salsa, pickled jalapeños, sour cream & chipotle chilli oil
🌱 Mexican fried “chicken” wings with salsa verde, sour cream & hot sauce
🌮 Baja tofish taco with pickled cabbage, salsa verde & sour cream (This is still one of my favourite dishes in London)
🌮 Jackfruit Barbacoa taco with beef style jackfruit, in salsa roja, roasted padron peppers, salsa verde & sour cream
🌮 Chorizo & Potato taco with salsa verde, chipotle mayo, pico de gallo & pickled jalapeño
The food is absolutely jam packed with flavour, perfectly proportioned, it’s not shy of a bit of spice and it leaves that warm, tingly feeling on your tongue 😍 I have so much love for these guys!
