This weekend, I paid a visit to Street Feast’s Dinerama. It’s right near my office and I have heard SO many good things so why I haven’t visited before is beyond me! 🤷🏼♀️
I now totally understand why this place has the reputation it does. It’s AWESOME! It’s a little courtyard full of deliciousness! There were rum bars, doughnut shacks & dumpling specialists, to name a few! 😍 Some people were there to catch up with friends over drinks, others were sampling food. 🥘 I personally chose to eat from four different vendors, because I’m a greedy little pig 🐷 I loved every bite) 🙈
I kicked off my day at Yum Bun with these perfectly steamed little dumplings topped with roasted cashews and green oil. The filling was juicy and the texture was spot on – Perfection. 💚
Next, I headed over to Yum Bun‘s bun parlour where I ordered the steamed bao bun, stuffed with crispy aromatic tofu, creamy black bean mayonnaise (which was incredible), garlic choy sum & chilli pickles. Um, yep. Heaven. 🙏🏼 Obvs got the box that came with a side of veggie gyoza and crunchy Asian slaw 🤤
For my meat eating followers, my boyfriend had the pork belly bun. Not my thang obviously but he loved it ❤️
Next, I wandered on over to Club Mexicana 🇲🇽 which I’m sure all London vegans are familiar with! They specialise in Mexican vegan food including an insanely good jackfruit burrito, tofu ‘fish’ tacos and these mock chicken wings smothered with Mexican spices 🤤❤️
Now, at this point it’s fair to say that we’re getting pretty full. So, it’s time to tap into our dessert stomachs. There really was no other choice but to try these bad boys from You Doughnut 🍩 (best doughnut shop name of all time? I think so). I’m not exaggerating when I say: They’re insane.
I went for the salted caramel hand made bite-sized doughnuts for obvious reasons: 🍩 Fluffy round doughnuts topped with cinnamon sugar and drenched in hot, creamy salted caramel sauce, popcorn 🍿 and some salted caramel ice cream for good measure 🍦 Just. So. Much. Drool. 🤤 If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I don’t have a huge sweet tooth but DAMN, I could eat these doughnuts all day, every day, for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything inbetween 😍 May even be the best dessert I’ve ever had 🙌🏼🤤
I went for the large portion and if I hadn’t already filled up on about four other cuisines, I would’ve definitely gone for the artisan ice cream topping too 🍦❤️
All in all, this place is a foodie’s paradise and especially friendly for vegans and veggies – hooray!
