Epic dumplings in Dalston 🥟 {press meal}
@doublestandarddumplings – you’re great. Think homemade dumplings with inspo from Taiwan, Korea, China & Japan. I knew it’d be good as Keegan, the owner was head baker at Bao for 5 years.
He was also vegan for a year and knows how little effort some places put into their vegan options so vowed to make his as good (if not better) than the non-vegan dishes 👏🏼
This is a one man operation and a small kitchen so the menu isn’t huge but what he offers is great 🙌🏼
Here’s what I ate:
🥟 Mapo tofu black skirted dumplings made w/ activated charcoal, stuffed w/ shiitake mushrooms, sichuan pepper & chilli oil. Served w/ sichuan mayo
