Dumplings Legend – Chinatown

Won’t you take me to… Chinatown? 😍 {ad}

I don’t know about you but despite being a big fan of Cantonese, Taiwanese, and, well…. basically all East Asian food, I rarely visit @chinatownlondon 🤔

I think I’ve bought into the misconception that because some of the venues seem quite meat heavy, they don’t cater well to vegans 🌱 Well, turns out I couldn’t be more wrong and I’ve teamed up with @chinatownlondon to show you just how wrong I was 🙈

I was sent a selection of the vegan options from @dumplingslegend to taste. Here’s what I tried:

🧂 Crispy Salt & Pepper Tofu
💰 £12

🥟 Steamed Veggie Dumplings
💰 £8

🥬 Choi Sum Garlic
💰 £12

🍆 Aubergine Taopan
💰 £12
🏆 Fave dish

🍚 Steamed Jasmine Rice
💰 £3

💭 I could eat this food all day, every day. The aubergine stole the show for me. I don’t know how they do it but it just melted in my mouth and left my lips tingling just the right amount. So much flavour! The Choi Sum was also so garlicky – this is exactly how I’d like to eat all of my greens from now on 🤤 The s&p tofu coating could’ve been crispier but I loved the silky tofu inside. As for the dumplings, I inhaled them in seconds – good amount of filling and a tasty sweet chilli dipping sauce 👌🏼
