Some “egg”citing new vegan breakfast options 🍳 {ad – press sample}
A venue called @eggrun_uk might not be the first place you’d expect to find “cracking” vegan options but there are a couple! Here’s what I ate:
🍔 Veganrun with vegan scrambled eggs, caramelised onions, vegan cheddar cheese, chives, chilli, spring onions and secret sauce on a warm vegan brioche bun

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. As I say in the video, the “egg” doesn’t have a super eggy flavour. Perhaps some kala namak would’ve made it stronger but the texture is impressive. I don’t know what brand they use, they said it’s top secret but I know it’s not soy based. The dominant flavours are definitely the onions and the sauce but it still tasted good and I’d eat it again. It’s hearty and filling and I loved how messy and sloppy it was though it did make for some grubby eating 😄

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. There are a *lot* of beyond burgers around now but this is done quite well. Again, quite heavy on the sauce but the flavours are good. The bun was excellent, so soft and fluffy.
