*Please note that this was written before I turned vegan*
Here’s a look at the absolute feast that took place at Gabeto London a few weeks ago with my foodie friends 😍❤️ The starters were by far my favourite part of this meal 😍
The beetroot & goats curd dish with slow roasted heritage beetroot and pistachios was to die for 🤤 We also ordered a trio of tacos including my veggie option – spicy bean & tomato with avocado salsa verde 🤤❤️ I’ve never met a taco I didn’t like and I must say, the veggie option was pretty damn tasty. I like that it has a little kick to it and thought the flavours were really strong. 🌮
We also had a delicious guac & nacho dish to share which they made fresh at our table, and it was just as divine as it sounds 👌🏼🥑
Before I get into detail about the mains, I also want to mention that I had the best cocktail of my life at this place, and that’s no exaggeration. If you like sweet cocktails, you need to order the ‘Tiny Toes’. I ordered this because their cocktail menu was so extensive I couldn’t choose, plus I liked the name. Turned out to be a very lucky choice! It’s made using Martel VS infused with vanilla, lemon, Prucia plum liquer and pear nectar. It’s not something I would normally choose based on ingredients along but I’m glad a took a gamble!
My main was a smoked cauliflower steak with a cauliflower purée, girolles, romanesco, baby aubergine & truffle. I chose this because I thought it was super unusual and it was very well put together. The truffle taste was super strong but in all honesty, and totally out of personal preference, it wasn’t quite suited to my taste palette. However, if you’re already a big cauliflower steak fan, you’ll love this!
I also obvs ordered a side of mac and cheese because I find it physically impossible not to order it when I see it on a menu. It had quite a sharp taste to it which I enjoyed but I wish it had been a tiiiiiny bit creamier.

ibe but I would probably choose to go back there for drinks and nibbles (starters) rather than a sit downmeal ☺️
