The burger fanatics at @hacheburgers have welcomed a new vegan burg to the club and it’s a smoky, smouldering number 🍔⁣

✏️I’m so glad to see a meaty style burger on the menu! It’s something they’ve been missing for a while so this has upped their game. I‘ve reviewed Hache before and my feedback on the bun is the same – ciabatta isn’t ideal for a burg. It’s too thick and the ingredients inside get lost. It’s better in the middle but on the edge, too tough. In terms of flavour, I really liked it! The smokiness is subtle but it’s there. The patty is cooked well, there’s a good amount of mayo, a nice hit of red onion, the veggies add moisture but the flavours do get a bit lost⁣

✏️Again, the bun dominates but the flavours are great! I prefer a simple burger. There’s a generous serving of mayo which has a bit of a tang to it. Patty cooked well! ⁣

🍟As a self proclaimed potato addict, I can’t stress how much I’d like to see the chips cooked in a separate fryer so that vegans can tuck into them too⁣

🍔 These guys also have one more @beyondmeat burger on the menu without cheese, as well as a panko crusted portobello mushroom burger for those who prefer a natural burg ⁣
