Jam’n Vegan – Online Only

I’ve never Carri-bean so excited for a frozen meals range {ad – press sample} 😍⁣

Remember when convenience used to translate to ‘soggy sandwich’? 🥪 Well, these days we have frozen Caribbean meal ranges like @jamnvegan which are absolutely bursting with colour and flavour 👌🏼⁣

You see a lot of burgers on this page ‘cos that’s where a large part of the vegan food scene is at right now 🍔 and don’t get me wrong – I love a burger but THIS is the kind of food I could eat every single day and THIS is the kind of food we need more of 🙌🏼 ⁣

I was so excited to try this range that I cooked all of them up at the same time so I could try a sample of each 🙃 Here’s what’s in the bowl:⁣

🧀 Caribbean mac and cheese with jerk spiced crumb⁣

🐟 Tobago tofish rundown with garlic mash & sautéed tenderstem⁣
🏆Fave dish⁣

🍛 Mung bean curry with Bombay potatoes and cauliflower spiced rice⁣

🥘 Trinidad chickpea curry with coconut wild rice, roasted pumpkin & greens⁣

🍛 Jerk tofu with rice and peas, braised cabbage, jerk gravy and tenderstem broccoli⁣

🥘 Jackfruit mutton served with rice, peas and sautéed garlic kale⁣
🏆 Fave dish⁣

💰 £36 for the box of 6 meals (£6 per meal)⁣
💭 I absolutely loved these. So much flavour in every dish, you could easily forget that these were frozen meals. The portion sizes are pretty decent and they reheat well. My only feedback was that I wanted the mac to be a bit thicker & cheesier although it had nice flavour. The tofish blew my mind with how fishy it was and the jackfruit mutton was all kinds of delightful 👏🏼 I love the way Kyle shows off just how sexy and delicious plants can be 😍⁣
