The geniuses at @japes_uk have only gone and done it, and not only have they done it, they’ve done it really bloody well 👏🏼
They’ve got two vegan pizzas and can make their cheesy garlic bread vegan too 🤤 So, obvs we tried it all. Here’s what we thought:

💭Wasn’t sure how the cheese would fare as a deep dish pizza is ALL about the cheese but I liked it! You can tell it’s vegan but I enjoyed the flavour. It also melted well. It sticks to your teeth in parts but not as much you’d expect. There’s a good amount on there too. When I first saw it, I thought there wouldn’t be enough but actually, anymore would take away from the other ingredients. The crust is cooked well and has a nice sweetness to it and the tomato sauce has a beaut flavour. I adored the crunchy hazelnuts – what a great addition! Loved the crispy onions and actually loved the asparagus and the bite it added to an otherwise gooey, creamy dish

💭 I thought I’d like this more but it didn’t quite hit the spot for me. The cheese, crust and sauce were all lovely but the toppings were too sweet for my liking. I also thought the mushrooms were a little bitter
