You had me at pancakes and pampering 🥞💆🏼‍♀️ {ad}

Why be just an adorable veggie cafe when you can also be a hairdresser, nail salon, beauty bar *and* retail boutique?! 🛍

I popped down to @linnaeanliving to see what their vegan offering was like but kiiinda wish I’d stayed for a manicure too 💅🏽

Here’s what I ate:

🥐 Croissant w/ chocolate sauce and toasted almonds

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes. Flaky, soft and you can dip it in rich choc. SOLD.

🥞 Signature matcha pancakes w/ fresh fruits, homemade granola & matcha yogurt

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes. It’s not very often I choose a sweet dish as my fave but this was fab. The yogurt was almost like icing but not sickly -pancakes were thick & fluffy

🌱 Stir fry w/ orange glazed organic tempeh, fresh vegetables, pickles and toasted sesame seeds

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes – w/ changes. I liked the flavours and generous amount of tempeh but it was a little heavy on the soy sauce and needed some kind of grain to soak it up

🍄 Buckwheat crêpe w/ leek béchamel, sautéed wild mushrooms & fresh leaves

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes w/ changes. Salty, smoky, nice hits of garlic. I liked the crunch from the smoky bites. The flavours were subtle so could’ve been stronger. Good for a lunch – I’d order a side if having for dinner

🌍Sustainability:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣The menu is focused on sustainability & seasonality. They work with local artisan suppliers and all food waste is transformed into Bio fuel & fertilisers for farmers. They also try to minimise waste and adapt a zero waste approach to the menu
