@marliskitchen is a one woman team on a mission to bring vegan chicken to London, and she’s doing an egg-cellent job of it too 👏🏼🐓
Normally you can grab this food at street food markets, supper clubs and for catering but during this pandemic, owner Belinda has created frozen DIY kits which are delivered straight to your door 🏡
Here‘s what we had:

🌱 Vegan brioche buns, crispy fried seitan fillets, @violife_foods cheese, beef tomato, dill pickles, lettuce, skin on fries, homemade spicy chip seasoning, burger sauce or homemade mango hot pepper sauce

💭 Finally, seitan which isn’t dry! Hoorah. The flavours in the coating are beaut. I did suggest that the patty could be a bit thinner and the bun less thick but overall, a great seitan burger and a really reasonable price. I also added oyster mushrooms because I was feeling wild. Loved the burger sauce too!
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes but I think I’d try the oyster mushroom burger next 🤤

💭 Love, love, love. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – oyster shrooms make the best chicken sub and these are easily some of the best I’ve had. The coating is flavoursome and the meaty bite is so realistic 👏🏼
