OmNom – Angel

What do you get when you mix yoga and food? 🧘‍♀️🥘 Om Nom! {ad}

If you haven’t been to @omnom yet, you’re missing a trick. Part yoga studio / mindfulness centre, part restaurant – this charity guarantees that for every meal eaten, someone else eats too 👏🏼

It’s set in a huge space with bright decor, a glass roof, a non-alcoholic bar and a range of healthy, comforting vegan dishes 🙌🏼⁣ I first visited a few years ago and popped back to try their new menu.

Here’s what we ate (pics in corresponding order):

🌱⁣⁣Vietnamese pancake w/ hoisin roasted jackfruit
💰£10
🏆 Fave dish

🌶 Jalapeño poppers w/ cashew cream cheese
💰£6

🌱⁣⁣Masala jackfruit rosti w/ red pepper & pineapple salsa
💰£11
🏆 Fave dish

🍌 Plantain chaat w/ quinoa, toasted coconut, pomegranate, mint & basil yoghurt
💰£6

🌱⁣⁣Rosemary miso glazed rib & grill platter w/ satay sauce
💰£11

🍆 Chargrilled teriyaki aubergine w/ sesame & tahini mayo, kimchi & dukkah
💰£6

🥘 Om Thali w/ masala sauce, vegetables, turmeric rice, raita & poppadom
💰£10

🌱⁣⁣Korean BBQ cauli bites & pear, apple & fennel slaw
💰£6

🍜 Spicy peanut laksa w/ rice noodles & veggies
💰£10

🍔Om cheeseburger & fries w/ a homemade patty, rosemary & chilli mayo & brioche bun
💰£12

💭I really like how much love and effort goes into every dish here. It’s hearty food with a healthy twist. The venue is also stunning and I think the prices are quite reasonable! The Vietnamese pancake, jackfruit rosti and plantain chaat were my faves with the Korean cauli and Om thali close behind. The only dish I wasn’t mad on was the rib & grill platter as I’m just still not convinced by celeriac, and the flavours didn’t wow me. I like the poppers but want the cheese to be thinner & creamier. They’re tasty but a tad dense.
