Tendril Kitchen – Oxford Circus

One of the best veggie restaurants in London is temporarily living near Regent Street 🌱 {ad}⁣⁣
⁣⁣
You may have seen me singing the praises of @tendril_kitchen’s food before! 🎤

They used to be at @sunand13cantons and now they’re at this spot just off of Regent Street for a few months before they find a permanent home 🏠 they’re currently crowdfunding for this – head to their bio to check that out 👀

The super talented (and lovely) @chefrishimsachdeva is a wizard when it comes to using seasonal British produce to create super unique, clever dishes 🌱
⁣⁣
Here’s what I tucked into:

🌱 Cauliflower, sweet potato, moilee, pok choy salad, crispy shallots, black rice
💰 £14

🌱 Crispy celeriac, nigella seeds, remoulade, parsley aioli
💰£7.50

🍄 Chipotle mushroom, crispy potato, leek, peanuts, salsa verde
💰£16

🌱 Hoisin aubergine bao, pickled carrots, peanut sambal
💰£6.50

🌮 Blue corn tostada, smoked beetroot ‘nduja, chilli fennel pickle, tapenade
💰£7.50

🌱 Jerusalem artichoke, cracker, chive
💰£5

🥔 “Chinatown” purple potatoes, sticky soy, sesame cracker
💰£7.50

🍰 Tiramisu
💰 £6

💭 Summary: Tendril ticks every box – flavoursome, hearty, creative food that leaves you feeling stuffed yet wanting more at the same time. I wish we had one of these in every area of the city but how nice to have a spot like this in central London. This place is epic!
🏆 Faves: The cauliflower dish and tiramisu dessert did it for me but I’d order almost all of these again. Even the celeriac dish was tasty and celeriac and I normally don’t see eye to eye.
