Heavy weekend? I’ve got just “the cure” ☕️ {ad}
My local cafe @the_cure_london is “just like heaven” ☁️ It’s light, airy, trendy and a cafe, shop & salad bar in one, serving up fresh, healthy food 🥰
🌱 Jacket sweet potato w/ spinach, black beans, guac, @kindaco “cream cheese”
💰£7.50
✏️Lovely flavours! A little kick & nice flavour from the chillies, the “cheese” is sweet and like a mix of yoghurt & sour cream. The beans add substance, potato perfectly cooked
❓Order again? Yes
🌱 Gluten free avo toast w/ tomatoes & dukkah
💰£8
✏️It’s pricey but DAMN was it good. The dukkah stands out – beautiful & so creamy. Bread is thick but not tough which I liked. Loved the addition of nuts & sweet tomatoes
❓Order again? Yes
🌱 Pitaya bowl w/ banana & coconut milk, granola, chia pudding & fruit
💰£6
✏️This was lacking in toppings & kiwi was underripe. It tasted like a banana smoothie which became samey. I’d love to see some peanut butter for flavour & more granola for substance
❓Order again? Yes w/ changes
🌱 Salad w/ spinach, mustard seeds, courgette, smoked tofu, cucumber, daal, turmeric, pickled onion & coriander, coconut, lime & mint dressing
💰£7
✏️The proportions were good – decent amount of toppings, loved the courgette. Didn’t like the dressing, too citrusy. Some things needed more flavour e.g. tofu, thought a honey mustard style dressing might work? Highlight was the “daal”
❓Order again? Yes w/ changes
My feedback? I think offering coffee beyond filter would expand the appeal of this place! ☕️ I also think some dishes are expensive. I know it’s in the middle of beaut De Beauvoir and the ingredients are organic & top notch but slightly lower prices would bring more people in💰
