Probably my most asked question is where to get a decent bottomless offering 🥂 Well, look no further! @thefieldrestaurant in London Fields has got you well and truly covered 🙌🏼 For £35pp, you get bottomless prosecco/mimosas and two courses of food, all in the comfort of the most beautiful leafy courtyard 😍❤️
We tucked into:
🌮 Corn tacos stuffed with scramble tofu , cayenne pepper, fresh herbs & spring onions. These were my ‘dish of the day’. Soft, silky tofu and a beautiful combination of natural flavours. Perfection👌🏼
🔥 Buffalo cauliflower & pickles with a homemade chilli sauce. This is some of the best cauli I’ve ever had. The sauce is amazing and the cauli is perfectly coated. I could eat these all day! 😍
🥑 The Full Field with sourdough toast, spinach, tomatoes, avocado, scrambled tofu and an extra side of harissa baked beans. This dish was tasty but didn’t have the same wow factor as the others. The beans had a beautiful creamy tikka type spice and the spinach was to die for but I would’ve loved to see a vegan sausage on there to make it a bit more hearty
🍓 Deep fried French toast with a strawberry compote, maple syrup & almond oat brittle. DELICIOUS! The compote (the owner’s mother’s own recipe) is unreal 👏🏼😍🙌🏼 .
This is such an adorable spot. The kind of place where you could sit outside all day in summer ☀️ and get cosy inside in winter ❄️ The food is reasoanbly priced and high quality and the staff are friendly & passionate!
Side note: This restaurant isn’t fully vegan. Whilst the basis for their menu is vegan, they also offer supplementary meat & dairy add ins for non vegans.
