TikTok Wrap Hack

From rap star to wrap star šŸŽ¤šŸŒÆ {ad}⁣
⁣
After my victory in theĀ @mydelikitchenĀ @officialwretch32Ā (w)rap battle againstĀ @chessiekingg, I was feeling pretty confident about my wrapping skills so wasn’t phased by the challenge of whipping up a creation usingĀ @mydelikitchen’s Brioche Style Wraps (which I LOVE by the way) ā™„ļø ⁣
⁣
They’re soft with a subtle sweetness to them and they’re a banging alternative to your standard tortilla wrap.⁣
⁣
I decided to take on the TikTok wrap hack (I know but how could I NOT), which, let’s face it, is just a quesadilla constructed slightly differently 🌯⁣
⁣
Quesadilla literally translates to ā€œlittle cheesy thingā€ šŸ§€ and those delights originated in northern and central Mexico in the 16th century šŸ‡²šŸ‡½ā£
⁣
These wraps would work well with sweet or savoury toppings but of course I decided to make a burger version using spicy mayo, lettuce, gherkins, vegan bacon, a vegan burger patty and lashings of vegan cheese šŸ”ā£
⁣
It was pretty dreamy – a perfect combo of smoky and sweet. Just like a burger in wrap form! Next time, I think I’d chop the burger patty up to make it easier to fold. Another option is to add less ingredients but that’s not as fun šŸ˜„ā£
⁣
Would you be up for trying a sweet brioche wrap? You can grab these atĀ @tescofoodĀ orĀ @waitroseĀ for Ā£1.35 šŸ’° ⁣
