Wagamama – Various Locations

There’s something “fishy” about Wagamama’s new dish 🐠 {ad}

…and that’s because they’ve created a Veganuary special featuring @omnifoods.uk to introduce a Japanese twist on vegan fish & chips to their menu 🐟🍟

💭 I’ve loved @omnifoods.uk for a long time now and I’m so happy to see their products being added to big chain menus like waga! It’s also cool to see waga getting a bit creative with their vegan menu. When I heard that the dish was fish & chips, I was a little confused but I actually think this is so well executed and really unique. The @omnifoods.uk OmniFish is really realistic and pairs well with the sauces, especially the tartare. I love the fresh, crushed edamame and the clever addition of a katsu sauce in replace of a traditional chip shop curry sauce. I was also surprised by the potatoes as I’m not normally a sweet potato lover but these were great – a nice combination of spicy, sweet and salty with beautiful flavour. Really cool ‘fish’ and yet another for waga to add to their ever-growing menu! It’s only available in January so make sure you get down there soon if you want to try it ☺️
