There’s muffin better than a good cake 🎂 {#ad}
Been looking to get your mitts on vegan sweet treats? Piece of cake, mate. @cutterandsquidge now has a whole vegan range 🥰🍰
Now, I don’t have the biggest sweet tooth 😬 I can only handle a little at a time so I brought along my trusty cake tasting expert @thebigjolleyvegan(*disclaimer: I invented this title) to give his pro opinion (*disclaimer: not a pro) 🤣 Please note the prices are for eat in, takeaway is cheaper.
Here’s what we thought:
🌱Choc Caramel Cake
💰£4.90
✏️Well, hello there decadence! This is just a big old slab of creamy, moist, spongey, sweet, rich goodness. The heavily soaked caramel bits are my fave part but the caramel come through well in the whole cake 🍰 There are little, crunchy biscuit bits, some parts soft and fluffy, others creamy like a mousse. I wouldn’t be able to take on a whole slice but Chris reckoned he could on a good day. Point is, it’s a big serving!
❓Order again? Yes
🌱Strawberry Loaf
💰£4.20
✏️ This is a bit drier and more dense than the others. The icing is nice and light, the strawberry jam is not overly sweet, there’s also a sharpness in the jam

🌱Oreo Cheesecake
💰£4.50
✏️ I quite liked the overall flavour but there was a bitter taste in there that i didn’t love. The proportions of each layer are good and it’s super creamy. Chris enjoyed this, it wasn’t my fave
❓Order again? No
🌱Chocolate Flake Loaf
💰£4.20
✏️Goodness, this was rich, maybe even slightly too rich for me. The base is soft and spongey, the icing is very creamy, rich and has a really nice flavour which compliments the cake perfectly!
