You’re going to “wonton” check these out 🥟👀
@myneighboursthedumplings has been on my ‘to visit’ list for some time. Not only for their delicious dumplings but also their beautiful garden filled with lanterns and plants 😍 perfect for al fresco dining right now 👌🏼
They’ve got a good range of vegan options on their menu but I’d love to see a vegan dessert too. Here’s what I ate:
🥟 Veggie dumplings
💰 £5.50
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? No (I preferred the potstickers)
🥟 Courgette and wood ear mushroom potstickers
💰 £5.50
🏆 Fave dish
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes (I’d get two lots of these next time)
🥘 Mapo tofu with shiitake mushrooms
💰 £9
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes
🌱 Marinated silken tofu with preserved vegetables, coriander & pine nuts
💰 £6
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes
💭 Reasonable prices, friendly staff, nice, chilled atmosphere and pretty delicious food. This would be a good option for a cosy date in the evening or a lunch catch up with a friend ☺️ Really good options for vegans 👏🏼 The potstickers were great – so moist and creamy inside with great flavour. I’ve never experienced a creamy dumpling before but I want to again asap. The mapo tofu was a close second. The veggie dumplings could’ve used a little more flavour imo. I enjoyed the silken tofu – I just love the stuff! Might start a tofu appreciation fan club. Lemme know if you want to join.
🎥 Check my IG reels or TikTok for video footage and close ups of the food and the adorable little garden ☺️
