Down in @coaldropsyard, you’ll find a plethora of shops & stalls but only a couple of hot food vendors, and fully plant-based @swegankitchen is one of them 🌭

I had no idea Swedish people took hotdogs so seriously but I’m here for it 👏🏼

Here’s what I ate:

🌭The Stockdog aka Tunnbrödsrulle – hot wrap, homemade mash, crispy lettuce, @movingmountainsfoods hotdog, homemade pickled relish mayo, Swedish mustard & crispy onions

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes. This is a traditional dish from Dalarna often eaten as an “end of the night” meal. It’s pure carby indulgence. If I had it my way, potato would be in everything so I liked the mash. I wasn’t convinced about the lettuce as it got a bit warm and warm lettuce ain’t my thang but I did like the little crunch that came from it. I love a MM hotdog – would’ve liked it to be more spread out across the wrap as you only got the sausage when biting into the middle of the wrap. Overall, liked the sweet, tangy flavours and the contrast of crispy onions and silky smooth mash with a meaty sausage. It’s a bit spenny but I’d have this again and I *know* I’d appreciate it after a couple of drinks

🤷🏼‍♀️ Order again? Yes. Just a really nice hotdog with a good amount of toppings and a meaty sausage. Only feedback is that it’s a little pricey
