Dulwich Hamlet FC
This weekend, I became a @dulwichhamletfc fan complete with a pink beanie hat. I also accidentally wore pink jeans too which was a very happy “on brand” accident.
We started our day with drinks at local pub The Cherry Tree. The pub was packed with Dulwich Hamlet fans with a nice pre-match buzz.
Upon arrival at the ground, I was pleased to see a few food vendors offering vegan options – from vegan burgers and chips to gyros and pies. I had a vegan burger which was nothing to write home about but kept me going and was about what you’d expect at a football ground.
At this stage, I’m just happy to see vegan options becoming available across London, especially at predominantly male-dominated events because, as we all know, there has always been a certain stigma around men going vegan and it’s about time we squashed it!

- When are home matches on? Saturday games kick off at 3pm and midweek games are normally on Tuesdays at 7.45pm
- How much are tickets?
For the men’s games: £12 for adults, £5 for concessions, under 13s are free with paying adults
For the women’s games: £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and under 13s are free with paying adults - You can buy your ticket at the door but I’d advise booking them online before you arrive as it gets very busy and sometimes sells out
