Dim-sum-body say there’s a new @tofuveganlondon branch? 🥟 {ad}
Yes, yes they did! You might have noticed that I’m a liiiittle enamoured by the original branch so it brings me great joy to see these guys succeed and expand – largely thanks to all of your support! ❤️
The new venue is in Golders Green and has been nicely decked out to give it a slightly more modern touch than the OG branch. They also have a private karaoke room upstairs! 🎤
I tried a mix of my faves and some of their new dishes including:
🥟 Wontons in a house special sauce
🥘 Gong Bao “chicken” with peanuts
🍜 Dongbei sweet potato noodles
🍚 Special fried rice
🐔 Kimchi “chicken” and tofu stew
🐟 Tofu & mushroom balls with a dish fragrant dipping sauce
🍲Mai Cai (instant hot pot)
🥟 Assorted dim sum
🥦 Stir fried water spinach w/ chilli & sichuan pepper
🍜 Special fried noodles, Sichaun style
💰 The prices range from £8 – £15. The portions aren’t massive so it’s a little on the pricey side but imo worth every penny

🏆 Favourites? I often get asked for my faves so here a few of them: sliced “fish” in sizzling oil, gungbao “chicken”, cloud ear mushrooms, dim sum, wontons in a spicy sauce, sizzling tofu in a fish fragrant sauce and my fave is actually the first dish on the menu which I think is highly underrated: sweet potato noodles in a spicy sesame sauce
