Guys, I’m so excited to share this absolutely brand-spanking new innovation that you might not have heard of before 💡 It’s called…. Banana Bread 🍌🍞
I know, genius right? 🧠 I’ve got a sneaking suspicion you might see this become a *bit* of a trend 😜 Yes, that’s right, there’s another banana bread on your timeline. Don’t @ me. Those ripe bananas aren’t gonna bake themselves 🍌
I channelled all of the ‘basic’ I had in me and jumped aboard the banana bread train 🚂 Absolutely no regrets 🙅🏼♀️ Also, I added chocolate chunks because life is too short 🍫
I used The Baking Fairy’s recipe and it was beautiful – moist, sweet and so damn moreish 😍 You can find her recipe here.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
🍌 4 medium ripe bananas
🌱 ¼ cup vegetable oil
🥛 ¼ cup unsweetened milk (I used oat)
🌱 ½ cup light brown sugar
🌱 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
🌱 2 cups all-purpose flour
🌱 1 tsp cinnamon
🌱 1 tsp baking soda
🧂 ½ tsp salt
🍌 Sliced bananas, for topping
🍫 Chocolate chunks to add in (optional – I used @joyofenjoy salted caramel chocolate buttons 🤤 I added them in to make it gooey in the centre. If you do add them in, just add them to the bowl along with everything else)
