Caramelised Onion Burger

Meet the patty of the moo-ment 🐮 {ad}

I’ve had a lot of burger patties in my time (I regret nothing) so whenĀ @finnebrogue_nakedĀ asked me to give their brand spanking new one a whirl, I wasn’t sure how different it would be to any others I’ve had before šŸ¤”

But I really enjoyed this. It gave me slightly more subtle Beyond Meat flavour vibes and the patty was super moist, soft and consequently hella juicy šŸ”

So, why is it different to any of the others out there on the market? Well:

šŸ’ŖšŸ¼ It’s high in pea protein (17g per burger)
šŸ” 40% less saturated fat than a traditional beef burger (that’s a lot)
šŸ” Packed with iron, zinc and vitamin B12
🌾 Gluten and soya free
šŸ’° Up to 40% cheaper than the leading plant based burgers in the UK
šŸŒ Carries an A grade enviro-score which reflects the short, efficient supply chains and minimal carbon impact, their recyclable packaging and low biodiversity impact within the products life cycle

šŸ” I decided to do something a little bit more special with these bad boys. So, I made this stack using a toasted sesame bun, two patties, two layers of vegan cheese, caramelised onions and mushrooms with balsamic vinegar, a little layer of rocket and some garlic mayonnaise. I had it with some chips and ketchup šŸŸ

šŸ›’ So, if ya wanna try some for yourself, you can grab them atĀ @waitrose,Ā @ocadoukĀ andĀ @dunnesstoresĀ right now 🄰
