@ittolondon is an adorable little pan-Asian restaurant with two branches in Stoke Newington and Finsbury Park, and has been serving up food since the late 90s.

They serve dishes originating from Thailand, Japan, China & Vietnam including pad Thai, green curry and agedashi tofu.

Here’s what I tried:
🥒 Smashed cucumber 💰 £6.50
🌱 Agedashi tofu 💰 £6
🥟 Vegetable gyoza 💰 £6.50
🥬 Morning glory 💰 £10.50
🌱 Mapo tofu 💰 £14.50
🍆 Szechuan tofu & aubergine 💰 £14.90
🍜 Singapore noodles 💰 £13.50

🏆 Faves: Singapore noodles, vegetable gyoza & Szechuan tofu & aubergine

💭 I visited the Finsbury park branch and thought it had a nice feel to it – cute decor, candles and a few people in for their weekday lunch. The staff were relaxed and helpful. The vegan menu is impressive considering this isn’t a vegan restaurant so there’s lots of variety. The dishes aren’t super cheap – some are a little pricey but it did all feel freshly made and not oily or greasy. I liked a few of the dishes and others I wanted more from – punchier flavours or more spice. I wasn’t sure about the mapo tofu – I prefer the traditional version with silken tofu. Some of the tofu dishes did feel a bit samey – maybe a variety of tofu textures would’ve worked well. This is a nice little spot for a cosy catch up or dinner with friends where you can share the plates and try a variety of dishes but I would’ve liked some bolder flavours.
