I’m sick of mediocre festive vegan sarnies with no love put into them so I did some research and found a few more creative options which I’ve been sharing.
This is the third episode and this one was from @thedustyknuckle. It was packed with roasted carrots, charred red onions with pomegranate molasses, tahini, spice cranberry sauce, charred sprouts, herb salad & hazelnuts 🥪
Ofc the bread is top tier – you wouldn’t expect anything less from DK. This sandwich is bursting with contrasting flavours from tangy to sharp and lots of textures to sink your teeth into – some creaminess, some crunch, some sponginess. The only thing I’d say is that it was a tiny bit on the sweet side for me personally but a minor bit of feedback on an otherwise delicious sandwich!
