@ayaandsuki is an adorable little veggie restaurant on Broadway Market in London Fields. They serve up small plates inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean, which showcase the beauty of vegetables. They also have a range of cocktails & desserts, all in the cosiest setting. The majority of the menu is vegan with just a few veggie dishes. The menu is seasonal and they create their dishes from scratch using locally sourced organic ingredients where possible.

💭 It’s really nice to see chefs putting so much effort into vegetables and creating a menu which doesn’t rely on mock meats. However, I would’ve liked to see a bit more protein on the menu and some heartier dishes to round it out a bit. I thought some dishes were creative and delicious and others weren’t for me. I REALLY enjoyed the crispy cauliflower with BBQ kimchi and stem ginger and the sesame miso aubergine with mango tahini, candied walnuts and pickled chilli. Omg that mango tahini was heaven. The apple in the dal didn’t really work for me. I actually preferred the sweet flatbread with tahini, dates & pistachios to the savoury one but I think it’s more of a dessert dish. Liked the muhamarra but wasn’t so keen on the hummus. The falafel was nice but a bit under seasoned.
