Cheesy Vegan Crisps

There’s nothing “cheddar” than cheesy crisps 🧀⁣⁣

⁣⁣

But as most vegans know, that pesky 0.00001% milk powder seems to sneak into every damn product on the face of the earth 🤷🏼‍♀️🥛

⁣⁣

I mean, really? What does that tiny percentage ADD? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Get with the times, people. Get rid of the milk powder, if not for the animals then for your own sales. Remove the milk and widen your range of potential customers 🙅🏼‍♀️🚫🐮⁣⁣

⁣⁣

So, in a time where snacking is a valued part of my daily routine, here are a couple of cheesy vegan crisp products so you can indulge in cheesy goodness without having to check the ingredients list:⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🧀 Kettle x Bosh sheese & red onion crisps⁣⁣

💰£1.99 (varies by shop)⁣⁣

📍 Tesco, Morrisons, Londis, Budgens

💭 Quite simply, outstanding. I used to eat Walker’s cheese & onion crisps by the truckload and these do an incredible job of replicating them!⁣⁣

⁣⁣

🧀 Hippeas ‘take it cheesy’ puffs⁣⁣

💰£1.65 (varies by shop)⁣⁣

📍Most supermarkets and health food stores: Ocado, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett, Sainsburys, Planet Organic, The Vegan kind, Tesco.& more

💭Kind of like wotsits which I used to have a mild obsession with. Could use a bit more flavour but I rate the light, ‘melt in your mouth’ texture.⁣

⁣⁣

🧀 Eat Real snacks quinoa & kale jalapeño cheddar corn puffs⁣⁣

💰 £1.89 (varies by shop)⁣⁣

📍Most supermarkets and health food stores: Holland & Barrett, Ocado, Morrisons, Tesco, Co Op, Sainsburys, Waitrose, Budgens, Wholefoods, Planet Organic & more… ⁣⁣

💭 Really love the flavour in these! Again, a puffy, soft texture with a crunch but a bit more to them taste-wise. All the tasties 🤤 ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

I realise it sounds like I used to eat my bodyweight in cheesy crisps most of the time but tbh that’s not too far from the truth 😂 ⁣

The most wotsits I ever ate in one sitting was three large family bags. If anyone has beaten that record, please do get in touch and I will hand over the cheesy crisp trophy 🏆 ⁣

Which ones are your favourites? Are there any others you’d recommend? Let everyone know in the comments! 😘😘

Ten Acre ‘When the cheese met the onion’ crisps are divine. But my all time favourite vegan cheese crisps are the Finlay’s cheddar and onion crisps which you can get in some Aldi stores (if you can still get them!)

My favourite ‘cheese’ crisps are the Ten Acre
‘When the cheese met the onion’ crisps, and the Finlay’s Cheese and Onion crisps. The Finlay’s crisps are, in my opinion, the best vegan cheese crisps ever!
