NEW NAME, WHO DIS? 🚨 Introducing… @thelittlelondonvegan 🌱
Turning vegan five months ago was, hands down, the best decision I ever made. I’m so passionate about this movement/lifestyle and everything that goes with it, so I thought it was about time to set this thang in stone 👊🏼 🌱 Absolutely sweet f-all else is going to change so expect the same silly, excited food face, gigantic feasts and trillions of vegan burgers 😃 but this name feels more ‘me’ now (Christ, I sound like I’m having a mid life crisis) and will hopefully stop poor confused people having to ask ‘wait, are you vegan?’ ‘Is everything in this picture vegan?’ 🤔🌱 (Disclaimer: yes, I am and yes it is)
Obvs celebrated the new name change the best way I know how: With food 🥘 I checked out @dishoom’s new vegan menu. @jolley_chris and I both ordered the big breakfast with sausages, “black pudding”, fresh avocado, those famous buns, a roasted tomato, spiced beans & juicy mushrooms 🤤 .
The highlight for me was the spiced beans! 🔥 The sausages had a nice flavour but I would’ve liked a firmer texture. The “black pudding” bites made from vegetables, lentils & barley were pretty unique. They weren’t bursting with flavour but I still enjoyed them. I felt it was missing one thing. Maybe one of the buns could’ve been replaced with some spiced potatoes or tofu 🤷🏼♀️ Overall though, it’s amazing to see @dishoom adding an entire vegan menu to their offering and it’s definitely worth checking out if you get a chance! PS Soz to our lovely waitress for catching you looking so unimpressed 🤣
