…kinda. They’ve teamed up with @symplicity_foods to fill their Shoreditch branch with plants instead of meat 🥩
You might remember @frontlinechef’s @symplicity_foods old burger spot on Brick Lane or recognise his sausages from @dishoom. What’s great about Neil’s products is that they’re “clean label”, made using quality veg grown locally and made in house to minimise food waste.
A few of us shared two half & half pizzas so we could try more options and we *still* felt gutted that we couldn’t try more – amazing menu 😍
Here’s what we ate:
🍕 Cauliflower, Vietnamese mince, coconut sriracha, pickled cucumber & red chilli salsa
💰 22”: £26
🏆 Fave
🍕 Ragu, red onion, rosemary & garlic crumb
💰 22”: £28
🍕 Creole mince, pineapple & scotch bonnet jam, baby hen lettuce, spring onion & red chilli
💰 22”: £28
🍕 Fennel sausage, smoked tomatoes, spinach cream, lemon & thyme pangratatta
💰 22”: £28
🍨 They offer a chocolate or miso caramel brownie for dessert. We got the miso caramel and it was the softest, stickiest, gooiest thing I’ve ever eaten but I liked it. It cost £6
💭 I was really impressed by the creativity of the pizzas. It was so nice to walk into a venue and be overwhelmed by choice, genuinely finding it difficult to know which one to choose. The flavours and ideas were interesting and unique. A couple of the pizzas could’ve had more toppings but I thoroughly enjoyed the flavours and thanks to the leftovers, can also confirm that they’re just as good for breakfast as they are for dinner 😉
