ad VEGAN KIMCHI MILK BREAD 🍞🇭🇰 You don’t see many vegan Hong Kong style baked goods on London’s street food scene and that’s because they’re not super easy to nail but @ongongbuns has done it!
After receiving lots of customer requests for vegan options, the team decided to take on the challenge and they created this kimchi style stuffed “milk” bread using vegan milk, butter, jackfruit and a tonne of flavours including gochujang, garlic and soy sauce.

🤷🏼♀️ Feedback: London’s vegan street food offering is levelling up! I thought this was delicious! I’d definitely get it again. I loved the spice level and the mixture of saltiness, spice and slight sweetness from the glazed bun. I did feed back that it would be good to have more of a bit of crunch in there. They’ve said they might try a vegan version of the char siu bun – can’t wait to give that a go!
