The other day, I told you Alexis Gauthier has a new restaurant called @123vegan_w1. Well, did you know they’ve got an array of options including vegan SUSHI 🍱
Here’s what I thought:
🍣 Grand sushi set – prawn tempura, tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, avocado nigiri, 4 salmon avocado maki, 4 California maki & an Inari sweet tofu pocket
💰 £19.50
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. Easily the most flavoursome, realistic “fish” sushi I’ve had. Textures spot on. Loved the prawn tempura too – v realistic

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. This was excellent. Patty cooked to perfection – moist & juicy. Flavours so well balanced. Love the slight kick 🔥

🍲 Pink Palissade bowl w/ smoked tofu, avocado, pineapple, sweetcorn, kimchi, crisp nori, pink Tom yum sauce, brown Thai rice & a rich, warm broth

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? No. Some nice flavours but a little underwhelming. Felt it was missing something. Needed more toppings, less rice. Broth was more like a thick mayo 🤔
🌱 Quesadilla Rojo w/ toasted corn galette, harissa glazed aubergine, confit red peppers, spicy salsa, vegan cheese, rocket

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes, w/ changes. Flavours were nice, needed more filling. Expensive for what it was. Bonus point for cheese melting well
