Small plates in a little secret garden 🪴🌸 {press meal}
Hidden amongst the hustle and bustle of Finsbury Park is an adorable little veggie cafe with a huge garden for al fresco dining: @commongroundlondon 🪴 They also serve brunch but I popped down to try the evening menu as it sounded fab 🥰
Here’s what I ate:

🥬 Confit hispi cabbage, cashew nut ricotta, leek flower, pumpernickel crumb & dill oil

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. Wasn’t expecting to like this the most but thought it was really creative & flavoursome
🏆 Fave dish

🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. I love a shroom scallop and these were done well – meaty, juicy & tasty

💰£6
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. Arancini should be on every small plates menu ever imo. These were delish

💰£4.50
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. Quite a small portion for the price but it was nice

💰£6
🤷🏼♀️ Order again? Yes. Tangy, sweet, zesty, fresh, crunchy – just love puri🍨 They offer a vegan panna cotta which I’d like to try next time💭 Summary: I enjoyed every dish I tried here to be honest. I wish I’d seen the kimchi hummus on the menu too because that sounds ace. I left feeling comfortable but not super full so maybe one more option would be good as a sharer for two but I’d deffo come back here. The atmosphere in the garden was so nice too!
