Dopamine Land

If you’re on the hunt for a unique experience or always on the lookout for new and fun things to do in London, I recommend heading to Dopamine Land London – A Multisensory Experience.

Dopamine Land is located in South Kensingron, approximately a five minute walk from the station and it is organised and run by @fever_uk.

Dopamine Land is a multi-sensory experience that combines media, technology and play in one place. On the website, they describe it as “…An interactive museum that channels the limitless imagination of your inner child into reality. This is a great day out with the kids, late evenings are adult friendly, letting everyone reveal their inner child throughout all the colorful installations. Take a break from your everyday life, have some fun and boost your happy emotions!”

In layman’s terms, Dopamine Land is essentially a collection of rooms with different themes. There’s a popcorn room with imagery of popcorn overflowing as well as a big tub of popcorn in the middle of the room that you can help yourself to. There is also a room filled with mirrors and lights which creates a stunning illusion. One room is designed for lying on the floor and staring up at the floating lanterns on the ceiling whilst rDoelaxing music plays. There are also livelier rooms including a cloud room where you can pillow fight.

I’d say that Dopamine Land is a fun way to spend an hour! Tickets are about £20 which isn’t too bad but it wasn’t huge and could’ve used a couple more rooms. However, it was nice to do something different for a while and it’s definitely something new and fun to do in London.

Address: 79-85 Old Brompton Road, SW7 3LD, South Kensington, London
