Like your dates cheesy? 🧀 “Wine” not head to @lafauxmagerie?🍷 {press meal}
In the name of research for the “London’s Best Vegan-Friendly Date Spots” list I’m releasing later this week, I popped down to @lafauxmagerie on Brick Lane 🧀
You probably know of La Fauxmagerie as London’s first vegan cheese shop where they stock the best of the best vegan cheese from different brands, as well as creating their own. But, did you know that downstairs, they also have an adorable, dimly lit, romantic space which they use to host vegan wine and cheese nights? 🍷🧀
Here’s what my friend and I tucked into:
🧀 The Herbaceous with the Betta Feta, Goatee and G.O.A.T cheeses as well as sun-dried tomatoes and organic sourdough
🧀 The Mediterranean with You Say Tomayto, C’e dairy and Lemon & Thyme Rigotta cheeses, organic sourdough, olive pâté, olive oil & balsamic vinegar
🧀 The Finale – A whole Camemvert roasted with sprigs of Rosemary and served with organic sourdough

💰For two people: £30 for two wine and cheese plates and wine, £20 just for the cheese, £12 for an extra glass of wine each
💭 These are deffo the créme de la créme of vegan cheeses – all from independent suppliers working hard to create great tasting, dairy free options for cheese lovers. The Camembert was my fave. I love the gooeyness, the “skin” and of course the rosemary flavours. Beautiful. But I loved most of the cheeses to be fair! The You Say Tomayto was up there too. This a lovely way to spend an intimate evening with a loved one or friend 🥰
