Nanny Bills – Wembley

Oh. My. Cod. 😱 You BATTER believe that @nannybills is making waves by serving up vegan fish and chip goodness 😍🐟🍟🌱🌊
In today’s edition of ‘What do vegans even eat though?’, 🤷🏼‍♀️ we’re focusing on this genius veganisation (add that to ya dictionary, Webster) of a well known British dish, made using marinated banana blossom for the fishy texture 🐟, a Camden ale batter 🍻 and seaweed salt to replicate that salty ocean flavour 🌊 🌱 This beaut of a thang is served with triple cooked chips, smashed mint peas & tartar sauce (curry sauce also available as an option for all you Northerners!) 🍟

The creativity and sheer attention to detail which Darren and his team have put into this dish deserves a bloomin’ standing ovation 👏🏼 Very clever. Whilst the fish experts among you might still be able to notice the difference between this and the real thing, this is a very bloody good substitute and more importantly, tastes absolutely divine and doesn’t hurt any fish or harm our ocean 😍🌊
What do you think? Will you pop down and ‘sea’ what it’s like? 🌊🌱
