Now this is an epic meat “sub”stitute 🥖 {ad}
Now, I don’t know about you but the only thing I ever used to order at Subway was the meatball marinara 🤤 I was a little obsessed with it! So, when I found out a meatless version was coming, I did a little happy dance 💃🏼
This is the perfect way to show people that they don’t have to give up the meals they enjoy if they stop eating meat 👏🏼
So without further ado, here’s my review:
🌱Meatless Meatball Marinara
💰£3.70 6-inch / £5.70 footlong
💭Well first of all, this is absolutely delicious. They’ve done a great job at replicating the original! 🍅 The tomato sauce is beautiful and just how I remember it. I would’ve loved more of it as it was a tiny bit dry in parts. I think next time I’ll ask for extra, then it’ll be more sloppy 🤤 I thought the meatballs were flavoured well and had great texture – not gristly or chewy but very meaty. 🧀 Shout out to the cheese too – There’s not loads of it but I think that’s alright, it’s not meant to be the focus. 🥒 🥬 We added lettuce & gherkins but I stupidly forgot to add the garlic aioli which I think would really take this to another level! The bread to meatball ratio was a touch out, would’ve liked one more meatball. Or maybe I’m just being greedy? 🙈 Overall, a pretty good sub!
