This brand new veggie cafe is so many different kinds of cosy, it’s ridic. My advice? Grab an oat latte & some grub and snuggle into the pillows in the conservatory. Perfect 🥰

🌱The Full Veggie (ask for the vegan version) w/ mushrooms, baked tomato, homemade hash browns, spiced baked beans, vegan sausages, sourdough & vegan butter

✏️The shrooms are lovely – juicy and well seasoned. The beans are sweet, the rosti has a nice flavour but I would’ve preferred it fluffier. The sausages are nice, more natural than meaty with a slightly sweet flavour. The spinach was too bitter for me.

🌱Mapo Tofu – Tofu & soya mince in a spicy Szechuan broth, topped with spring onions, white sesame & sushi rice

✏️A delicious dish! This has a medium heat, lovely spices and a deep flavour. It’s got the kind of heat that sits at the back of your throat. There’s a slight tang and it’s slightly less salty but sweeter than other mapo tofu dishes I’ve had before, which I liked. The tofu is soft but not too soft, so it keeps its shape

🌱Spicy coconut ramen w/ shiitake mushrooms, pak choi, ginger & miso cooked in coconut milk. Served on udon noodles, drizzled with chilli oil

✏️This. Was. Incredible. The sweet coconut flavour is such a stroke of genius. The noodles have a beautiful texture, they’re thick but soft. It’s mildly spiced, the mushrooms are chunky so they soak up the flavour of the broth, and the pak choi is nice and fresh (if a little hard to eat).I just adored this so much. Warning: Don’t wear white like I did 😂💦
